CurryMe said Great for a first edition.. I'm not a surgeon, not even close, but this is a great text. Nice balance of concise and comprehensive. Great topics, tons of practical information. Looking forward to watching this text develop over the next few editions. It will surely be a standard for this relatively new surgical specialty.. "A quick and dirty review for surgical management from ED to OR" according to LJ. This book is concise, easy to read, and still contains enough evidence based rationale for treatment approaches to be academic. Good illustrations and review of critical care concepts and management also.
