B. Einhorn said Advanced problems, not my favorite set. The book says Intermediate/Advanced, but I think its weighted toward the latter. I like some of Roths other books, so I decided to try this.I'm reminded of Eric Jannerstens "The Only Chance" where you are presented with a bad contract and must play for some exact layout(ex. LHO must have a singleton 9 or 10).While these problems may be interesting to some, I was disappointed because I was looking for a set of generally . Good and bad plays This book consists of 62 play problems, most of them are pretty good. However, sometimes the explanation is not deep enough, the author has some blind spots, and the plan the author suggests is not optimal.In problem 17 from a real deal, the author says many 'top-class' declarers had a blind spot and failed.
