Russell There's a lot of good information to help a student prepare for the PSAT in this book. But similar to other prep books it's hard to replicate the difficulty level of the PSAT in any given year. If you are looking for generalized information so that you or your student walks into the test with a good understanding of the concepts that will be tested and the structure of the test, this would be worth the investment. However, it's value for practice tests is not as good.. Laura B. said Detailed Guide. I purchased this guide for my 9th grader. I found it helpful to divide the information up with tabs so it didn't appear overwhelming, and she could better manage her time while studying it. This guide was very thorough and my daughter thought it was helpful.
