Cute book for a first time author The author is a personal friend of mine. I read the book and found it to be a quick read. She pulls the reader into her life and you feel as if you are apart of the variuos situations that she encounters in the classrooms. There are a few hiccups, as common with many first-time authors, but a delight to read none the less.. ØFWGKTÅ said How i survived the first five years of teaching. This book is so interesting. My sister is a teacher and she had almost the same types of issues in her first years. The turmoil in trying to get unruly children to behave can be torture. Mrs. Wright took me right into her classrooms. A very good read.
