Three Stars Not my cup of tea but at least I can say I've read something by Zola now.. 3 1/2 star rating Katie L. I never knew of this book existed before seeing the movie trailer by chance. The trailer intrigued me, so I set out to get the book and read that first. I've just finished both and it is easy for me to say that I enjoyed the movie much more than the book.I can see how some of the reviewers are frustrated with this story and say . Carole McGraw said In secret. Poorly translated. Very dark, dreary depressing story. I hope the movie is better. Some of the characters were quite interesting.
