I was expecting a Christian based book, but while the author repeatedly says things like "Jesus said," he never actually references scriptures to verify his claims. While there is a token Bible verse at the start of every chapter, the author takes great license with what Jesus supposedly thought, did, said, or believed. I found his concepts scripturally unsupportable on several occasions.. great best reading I am a christian, who likes to examine religion, I am passionate and have a degree in psychology and international development.Read this book when I was 21, now with 27 is still one of my favorite books. Loved the combination of psychology and christianity.has everything to do with everything.. Spiritual Therapy Dana L. Werts Baker's book is an interesting read from a different perspective on the ministry of Jesus. The book reads almost as a devotional book with short chapters, each ending with a summary statement. Case studies are used for illustrations, tying the spiritual into real life applications. I bought three for my counselor friends.
