History, Intrigue, Romance Set in 17th Century Ghana, I enjoyed this story for what it conveyed about the culture and traditions of Ghana at an important time in its history. Moreover, the love story between a prince and a princess from a neighboring kingdom, complete with jealousy and intrigue, was a pleasure to read -- and is certain to delight teen and YA readers.
