"Not recommended for introducing new material." according to TheLovelyLotus. I would only recommend these books to students that have already covered the material and use it as a review or summer study. Definitely would not recommend for an introduction to new material or head start for the new school year as the instructions are not always clear and detailed. Worksheet instructions can even be written as if teaching an adult rather than a elementary student. My children got lost in the instruction often.. I review with my daughter what she is to do on the page, and then I check it over with her after she is finished.
