A Customer said Quite disappointing.. The author of this book chooses to refer to herpes as "The Dragon" not just once but over and over again. In todays society where this virus is so incredibly common and widespread AND stigmatized by the media we don't need it to be referred to so negatively. Especially when many times the people who are unfortunate enough to have been exposed to the virus have such feelings of guilt and worthlessness and despair. Also, the information presented does not seem to be thorough enough at all.I have found a much more exceptional and informational book to be "The Truth about Herpes" by St. Prev. reviews misinterpretation of book and mythical dragon This author has a lot of titles written for doctors, but this book of his is apparently for patients. The previous reviewer seemed to be looking for more medical information than common questions and experiences in the book. The "dragon" referred to is "mythical" fear and the book is suppose to help patients, victims, come to terms with having Herpes. Something that will not ever go away. Other books discuss the virus in more detail, this one talks about having Herpes and dealing with the "dragon" which is not herpes, but the fear one feels when having to deal with it.
