Carving Foam also discusses many ways to use the process, types of finishes and projects that can be done.. "Carving Foam" picks up where Book 1:"Scaling Up" leaves off, and leads into Book 3:"Stone Coating" for the final finishing techniques. 2nd book of the three part series "Big Sculpture for Little"
Good information but way too pricey If I had looked a little closer I would have bought just book one. What this artist has done is split what should have been one small book on a single project into three chapters and charged you a premium price for each chapter. Book one talks about the basics of planning, tools needed for carving and the type of glue to use. Unless you really like this sculpture it is the only one you need. Book two is mos. music fan said I guess you can learn something from it. A little to involved for an old hoss like meguess I will stick with traditional armature and point up methods for my bronzes.
