Read it and loved it so much I did my 20 page Senior Seminar paper on it! I had to chose a novella to read for my Senior Seminar class and then do a 20 page seminar paper on chosen novella before I could graduate. After hearing about all the controversy that surrounded the book when it was first published, my interest was peaked and I had to read and write about it. I chose this edition because not only did it contain the original story, but also contained al. "Wouldn't recommend - contains spoiler -" according to S Cox. Honestly, I didn't like the plot of the novel. I thought that although it really opened up the idea of what womanhood could be, I think at times it was selfish. SPOILER: Personally, I'm the sort of person that thinks if you have children, even if you don't want to be a parent, you find a way to be there for that kid. So that really bugged me. But apart from that, I didn't have much prob. EA Solinas said Tale of desire.
