Great novel by Mr John L. Calico Great novel by Mr. Hecker. I know him personally and after reading the book in three days, it appears that he is as great an author as he is as a police officer. It was hard to put the book down after reading the first few chapters. I think he has a great future as a writer.. Great Action and Thrills I have finished this book and it was FANTASTIC! I'm keeping it rather than donating so I can read the whole thing again (which is a rarity).. Kindle Customer said MORE than "just" a crime novel!. Read all of the best crime writers and Hecker's debut stands tall next to the big names. If he develops a couple of these characters in his second effort, we will see movies follow!
