Necessary even if you own her "Selected Stories" If you own Gordimer's "Selected Stories" and are wondering if this book has enough new material to make it worth purchasing, the answer is Yes. "Life Times" contains 38 stories, only twelve of which appear in "Selected Stories." What's more, even if you own "Life Times," you might want to purchase "Selected Stories" also, because it contains nineteen stories not included in "Life Times." To have a really complete collection of Gordimer's excellent short fiction you need both books.. "Excellent writing, of course" according to Caroline V.. Excellent writing, of course.
