Amen's "Maximize" is a comprehensive text on the brain, important to scholars, parents and anyone who wants to know how the brain works and how that knowledge can be applied. The "Love" book is a bit less scholarly, yet more insightful to the couples' niche.. Apollo loves said An absolute must read for everyone!. I've come out on the other side with better understanding after reading this fabulous and insightful book. This is a must read for everyone in a difficult or even a healthy relationship. It has great insight into the brain and its function. We're not all crated equal and that's the point of this book. Chemical imbalance, brain injury, it all has a great effect on our personality and our capacity for dealing with everyday life.Good read. I highly recommend it!.
