SSRW Assessment Book - it's a good tool TheCoasties The Assessment book is a good tool to use with the Sing Spell Read Write phonics program. It somewhat duplicates the exercises in the students (Raceway) book, but it does have a scoring function which could be a motivator for some children.. Thankful said Just what I needed!. I had purchased the entire Sing, Spell, Read, Write kit from Ebay. However, it was missing a few pages in the assessment book. This book came at just the right time! This is a wonderful book to use with early readers to boost their confidence about reading. My son loves the pictures that support the text, even in the exam part.
